Referral Programme Terms

Eligibility

The Sieraad referral programme is by invitation. Members must be 18 or older and resident in South Africa. Membership is linked to the email address you sign in with at sieraad.co.za. Sieraad may end any membership at any time; anything already earned under these terms is still honoured.

Referral codes are a welcome for first orders only: a code works for a customer who has never placed a paid order with Sieraad, on this site or our previous online store. One code per order; a referral code cannot be combined with any other code. Your own code cannot be used on your own order.

Friends Referral

Your friends get 15% off the wine on their first order with your code. Delivery is charged as usual.
A referral counts when a friend completes a paid order with your code. An order that is refunded stops counting. Counts are cumulative and never reset.
When 5 friends have each placed a paid order with your code, you receive a once-off voucher for 50% off the wine on one order of up to five cases (30 bottles). It does not expire, can be used once, only on an order placed with your own email address, and cannot be combined with another code. Bottles beyond 30 in that order are charged at the full price; delivery is charged as usual. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
When 10 friends have each placed a paid order with your code, you may book a private tasting with our winemaker, hosted by you, in one of these areas: the Western Cape (Cape Town and Winelands), Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Bloemfontein, Gqeberha, Mbombela or East London. The date is agreed with you personally, subject to the winemaker’s availability. This reward is offered once.
Inviting friends: you may only invite people you know personally and believe would welcome hearing from us. We send each invited person one invitation and at most one reminder, and stop immediately if they ask us to. You may send up to 20 invitations a day and 100 in total.
A reward already issued is not withdrawn if a later refund lowers your count.

Influencer Referral

Your audience gets the discount set for your code on the wine in their first order.
Commission is earned on the first paid order of each new customer who uses your code, at the rate agreed with you and shown in your portal. It is calculated on the value of the wine after the customer’s discount, excluding delivery, including VAT where applicable. The rate in force when the order is paid applies to that order.
Payment: commission becomes payable 30 days after the order is paid, once the refund period has passed. Payable commission is paid by EFT into the South African bank account you give us, once at least R250 is payable. A refund reduces or reverses the commission on that order; commission already paid on an order later refunded may be offset against future commission.
You are responsible for any tax on commission you receive. If you are a VAT vendor, we may ask you for a tax invoice before paying.
You must make clear to your audience that you are paid commission on sales made with your code, as advertising standards require.

Fair Use

Referral codes are for sharing with real people. We may withhold or reverse rewards and commission, and close a membership, where we reasonably believe a code has been used to refer yourself, to create multiple accounts, through spam or misleading advertising, or otherwise against the spirit of the programme.

Changes and Contact

We may change or end the programme on reasonable notice by email; rewards and commission already earned remain yours. How we handle personal information in the programme is set out in our Privacy Policy. Questions: lekker@sieraad.co.za.
